Alleluia! Christ is risen!
The Lord is risen indeed! Alleluia!

Please join us as we celebrate Easter morning today! Our offerings for this special Sundays at Home service are rich and varied.

It begins with a beautiful slideshow of last's years Sunrise Service at the Outdoor Sanctuary, set to music. We invite you to rise early and watch the sunrise from your home along with this wonderful video.

We also have a full celebration of the Eucharist from the chapel at Bishop Martin G. Townsend's home in West Virginia, with a sermon, and an additional Children’s Chapel Time. We will also feature beautiful music from our choir to truly celebrate the Lord during this time of new beginnings.

Our Easter Morning Worship begins with the beautiful words from the Song of Solomon, set to music by Anglo-Canadian composer Healey Willan and sung by our Trinity Choir Section Leaders.  "Rise up my love, my fair one, and come away.  For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.  The flowers appear on the earth, the time of the singing of birds is come.  Arise my love, my fair one, and come away."

On this Easter Sunday we offer this six part Renaissance motet, "Haec Dies", by William Byrd.
Translation:  "This is the day the Lord hath made.  We will rejoice and be glad in it."
