Second Sunday of Easter

You can watch the entire service, or view Anthem on demand further down the page. You’ll also find a Children’s Time video for your younger ones to view.

Every year, on this second Sunday of Easter, we read the story of "Doubting" Thomas who wanted to see the wounds in Jesus' hands and side before he could believe that Jesus was risen from the dead. Although Ralph Vaughan Williams' anthem "O Taste and See" was originally composed for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, we hope the gracious monarch won't mind sharing with the skeptical disciple as the text of this anthem fits so perfectly with his story. "O taste and see how gracious the Lord is. Blessed is the man who trusteth in him".
