Yearly Events at Trinity
In addition to religious holidays and ceremonies that you can find by visiting our calendar, Trinity hosts a variety of events throughout the year. We endeavor to foster relationships within our congregation, fund our outreach programs, and enrich our surrounding community.
Hunt Country Stable Tour
The Middleburg and Upperville area is home to many of the country's premier Thoroughbred breeding farms, show hunter barns, fox hunting barns, and country estates. On this remarkable weekend in May, specifically Memorial Day weekend, owners open the doors of their exquisite grounds, magnificent stables and extensive training facilities to visitors. Just a 45-mile drive from downtown Washington, DC, the tour is a wonderful way to spend a day or two touring by car with family and friends. Proceeds go to Outreach programs.
Summer Church Picnics
Every summer, Trinity holds picnics in the beautiful Outdoor Sanctuary for fellowship and worship. Members and guests contribute to the feast with hamburgers and hotdogs cooked by the finest grillers! After dinner, the group worships at the sanctuary.
Blessing of the Animals
Bring your animals no matter what species or size and have them blessed by Rev. Rob Banse. Remember, we don't just bless Episcopal animals. This event is usually held on the Sunday closest to the Feast of Assisi.
Our Christmas Auction is held on the first Sunday in December, and we always hold a preview party the Friday before so bidders can take a look at what is available. We accept donations to the auction from members of the congregation and the community and proceeds benefit our Outreach programs.
A beautiful opportunity for the children of trinity church to act out the birth of Jesus during the service. The costumes and props add to the beauty of the pageant and seeing young children dressed up as sheep and donkeys as well as angels makes this celebration very special.
Friends and members of Trinity displayed their beautiful artwork for sale. Proceeds benefit our Outreach programs.
