Good Friday

Good-Friday.jpg

Please join us to solemnly reflect throughout today, Good Friday. We look on the life and death of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and take this with us into our own lives. You’ll find the full service below, along with the anthem and sermon to be watched individually if desired.

Our anthem for Good Friday is "For God So Loved the World" by 20th century German composer and church organist, Hugo Distler, who was one of the most gifted composers of the time but committed suicide in 1942 at age 34 to avoid being drafted as he could not reconcile serving both God and the Nazis.

All musical segments in our posted services were pre-recorded prior to the enactment of the current strict shuttering of churches and social distancing protocols throughout the Diocese of Virginia.
