We regret that the sound quality is affected by a breeze during parts of today’s service. The problem was discovered when it was too late to re-record the service. We continue to learn what's possible and what is less than desirable.

Hymn 487 in the Episcopal Hymnal 1982, Come My Way, My Truth, My Life, is a simplified version of "The Call" which comes from "Five Mystical Songs" written by English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. The text by 17th century Anglican priest and poet, George Herbert, reflects the words spoken by Jesus in this morning's Gospel reading.

The tune "Brother James' Air" was written around 1915 by James Leith Macbeth Bain, a Scottish healer, mystic, and poet known simply as Brother James. This well known arrangement by Gordon Jacob uses the words of the 23rd Psalm, but to fit with today's Gospel reading we have substituted the text "How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place" which is a paraphrase of Psalm 84 from the Scottish Psalter circa 1650.
