Welcome to Sundays at Home

Good morning and welcome to Trinity! So glad you are tuning in virtually for today’s service. Each week you’ll find Sundays at Home with Trinity Episcopal Church. We feature the full service recording, as well as the sermon and anthem on their own.

We invite you to view our Parish Prayer Calendar and join us each day in praying by name for those listed.

In-person services are held at Trinity Church each Sunday at 8:00am, 10:30am, and 5:00pm with another at 12:00noon each Wednesday.

Once again, thank you for tuning in and for being faithful with your time, talents, and treasures.

Grace and Peace!
Rev. Jonathan V. Adams

October 12, 2022 marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of the English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1958). In addition to being the foremost English composer of his generation, he was credited with composing, adapting, or arranging more than 80 tunes set to hymns of the Christian faith. Can you imagine "For All the Saints" sung to a tune other than his SINE NOMINE? Vaughan Williams saw in folk tunes and traditional songs an alternative to frequently used tunes. FOREST GREEN, for example, is an English song arranged for liturgical use. One of his most famous pieces is the organ arrangement of the tune RHOSYMEDRE, named after a village in Wales and used as this week's Prelude.
