Welcome to Sundays at Home

Good morning and welcome to Trinity! So glad you are tuning in virtually for today’s service. Each week you’ll find Sundays at Home with Trinity Episcopal Church. We feature the full service recording, as well as the sermon and anthem on their own.

Special Summer Service Times is in effect and continue through the summer months. We will have in-person services each Sunday at 9:00am (Rite II Eucharist, with hymns) and 5:00pm (Celtic Evening Prayer, with Eucharist).

Once again, thank you for tuning in and for being faithful with your time, talents, and treasures.

Grace and Peace!
Rev. Jonathan V. Adams

This week's voluntaries are from the pens of American composers. The Prelude, on the tune "Materna" (America the Beautiful) was written by Charles Callahan (b. 1951), a prolific composer and active church musician. The Offertory by Gerald Near (b. 1942), one of today's finest composers of church music, is based on an American folk tune that appears in our hymnal several times. Use the Tune Index to find out which hymns use that tune. Finally, the Postlude is by William Selby, a Boston composer and organist who lived from 1738-1798. Born in England, Selby was one of the first composers to emigrate to America.
