We invite you to view our Parish Prayer Calendar and join us each day in praying by name for those listed.

In-person services are held at Trinity Church each Sunday at 8:00am, 10:30am, and 5:00pm with another at 12:00noon each Wednesday.

Once again, thank you for tuning in and for being faithful with your time, talents, and treasures.

Grace and Peace!

This week, the First Sunday after the Epiphany of our Lord (January 6), we celebrate the Baptism of the Lord, when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River and God gave his approval through the appearance of the Holy Spirit. Both the Prelude and the Offertory are based on the Epiphany hymn "How Lovely Shines the Morningstar", one of the finest hymns ever written. Lutheran Pastor Philip Nicolai wrote this hymn in the 16th century, as well as the Advent hymn :Wake, awake! A voice astounds us". 20th century American composer James Woodman arranged the tune for organ, and 19th century German composer Peter Cornelius, a student of Franz Liszt in Weimar, Germany, wrote the lovely song known as "The Three Kings" which combines a beautiful solo melody with the hymn tune sung in the background. It is sung for us by tenor Chip Connelly.
