Good morning and welcome to Trinity! So glad you are tuning in virtually for today’s service. Each week you’ll find Sundays at Home with Trinity Episcopal Church. We feature the full service recording, as well as the sermon and anthem on their own.

We invite you to view our Parish Prayer Calendar and join us each day in praying by name for those listed.

In-person services are held at Trinity Church each Sunday at 8:00am, 10:30am, and 5:00pm with another at 12:00noon each Wednesday.

Once again, thank you for tuning in and for being faithful with your time, talents, and treasures.

Grace and Peace!

Fourth Sunday of Advent

Please view the embedded video of our service below by clicking on the grey arrow in the middle of the image.

On this fourth Sunday of Advent, we light the final purple candle as we await the imminent birth of the Savior. This candle represents joy and the theme is centered around Mary, the Mother of Jesus. The Prelude is based on a plainsong hymn used as the Introit on the Fourth Sunday of Advent in the Roman church. The text is the opening words of Isaiah 45:8,  The ancient Advent hymn "O Come, O come, Emmanuel" is often published in collections of Christmas carols, though it is traditionally sung in the final days before Christmas. The Offertory is a setting of the familiar text "Ave Maria" by Austrian composer Franz Biebl and sung by our Austrian friends the PaltenKlang Choir, who visited our church in October. Finally, the Postlude is based on an ancient chant for the Magnificat, sung by Mary when she was told she would be the mother of Jesus.
