History
Trinity Thrift & Boutique is part of the legacy of Trinity Episcopal Church, a cornerstone of the Upperville community for over 180 years. The boutique resides on the historic church grounds, surrounded by a rich tradition of giving and service. The property, originally gifted by philanthropists Paul and Bunny Mellon, embodies a commitment to supporting the local community through outreach and care. Today, Trinity Thrift & Boutique continues this tradition, transforming the idea of thrifting into a sustainable, stylish experience.
Community Impact

Partnering with Trinity Episcopal Church, Trinity Thrift & Boutique supports Tree of Life Ministries, an organization dedicated to assisting the poor and vulnerable in our community. Through its five branches—Food, Lifeskills, Shelter, Healthcare, and Relief—Tree of Life provides practical help and hope to those in need, embodying the spirit of service and compassion.

A cornerstone of Trinity’s outreach, the Piedmont Child Care Center has been enriching the lives of children and families since 1984. Offering full-time childcare for ages six weeks to 12 years, this not-for-profit center provides nutritious meals, developmentally appropriate education, and a safe, nurturing environment. With proceeds from Trinity Thrift & Boutique , we help ensure that Piedmont continues to be a vital resource for working parents and young learners in our community.
-
Established in 1994, Seven Loaves Food Pantry has spent over 30 years addressing food insecurity in the community and the surrounding areas. By providing nutritious food in a respectful and welcoming environment, Seven Loaves serves anyone in need, regardless of income, residence, or background. Your support at Trinity Thrift & Boutique helps sustain this mission, ensuring no family in our community goes hungry.
-
Beyond these cornerstone initiatives, proceeds from Trinity Thrift & Boutique contribute to a variety of outreach efforts driven by Trinity Episcopal Church, including:
Hosting free healthcare services like the Mammovan.
Providing emergency relief and financial support to local families during difficult times.
Supporting sustainable, long-term community projects that make a difference.
Every visit to Trinity Thrift & Boutique is more than a shopping trip—it’s a step toward building a stronger, more compassionate community. Thank you for being part of our mission.
