Education
| We believe that education is for all kinds of people, from the completely convinced to the seriously doubtful and for all ages. Each Sunday morning we provide nursery care for children up to age four during the church service. Sunday School classes for Kindergarten through 8th grade students are held downstairs in the lower level of Cox Hall. Classes begin at 10:30 AM and then the children are brought back into the church to meet their parents during the church service at the peace. Drew Colby heads up our Youth Group for ages 6th Grade and older. They meet on Sundays following church unless another special event has been planned. For adults there is a Wednesday Bible Study in the Peard House from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM, followed by our Wednesday 12:00 noon Eucharist Service. Sunday mornings, the rector presents as Adult Forum in Cox Hall from 9:00AM until 10:15AM. Confirmation classes for the 8th graders is usually the 8 weeks prior to the visit from the Bishop. In 210 confirmation classes will begin on February 24th and will be taught by Jamie Gore. The Christian Education Program of Trinity Church strives to provide an environment in which we all may more fully love and serve the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls and minds and love our neighbors as ourselves. The goal is to provide education opportunities to encourage involvements for all ages of our parish and community. Above all we work together in a sense of joy and love, being open to the workings of the Holy Spirit in our lives. | |
